Jamie Kennedy Thai Yoga Massage

Jamie Kennedy is an intuitive Thai Yoga Massage Therapist whose fascination in the human body, its movements and functions began at an early age. Jamie commenced his studies in physiotherapy and human movement but ultimately left university to pursue his love of learning beyond the classroom and he began travelling the world.

His travels were focused on his love of martial arts, self healing and bodywork, which found him in Northern Thailand where he discovered a style of bodywork that complemented his own personal philosophies of the world and the body. Jamie practices a fusion of Northern and Southern style Thai yoga massage along with complimentary therapies inspired by talented teachers and body workers worldwide. His principle Thai massage master, Ajahn Pichest, specialises in intuitive remedial Thai bodywork which is both creative and effective.

Jamie recognizes now, more than ever, how when not connected to the mind, the body suffers and then eventually tries to reconnect with the mind often with 'pain' or illness as the form communication. He works to assess and address imbalances in your structure and musculature, and work with the energetic body to remove blockages and restore equilibrium. Connecting the mind and body supports the body's ability to heal, empowering the body towards health and vitality.

Thai Yoga Massage

Thai Yoga Massage is a holistic therapy and one of the healing arts of traditional Thai medicine. It harmonises the flow of energy throughout the body, utilizing pressure from hands, thumbs, elbows, knees and feet.

Thai yoga massage is a full-body treatment that can achieve deep and long-lasting results.  Acupressure, deep tissue massage, passive stretches and gentle rocking, softens muscles and improves circulation, joint mobility, flexibility, relaxation and realignment of the body.

Jamie's approach is to listen intently to the body, respecting its range of motion and level of comfort in any given position. Working with the breath Jamie allows your body to guide the massage and its depth, enabling a deeply therapeutic and relaxing experience.
